Gandhinagar, July 15 (IANS). Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Wednesday responded to the birthday wishes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on social media platform X, reiterating the state’s commitment to contribute to the vision of ‘Developed India 2047’.

Responding to Prime Minister Modi, Patel thanked him for his good wishes and said that under his leadership Gujarat will continue to play a leading role in achieving the goals of national development.

Bhupendra Patel said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi, thank you very much for your good wishes. Under your visionary and inspiring leadership, Gujarat is committed to playing a leading role in realizing the goal of ‘Developed India 2047’.”

He further said that the Gujarat team is working with utmost honesty, transparency and dedication to ensure holistic and inclusive development of the state, giving priority to the welfare of the last man and the underprivileged of the society.

“Your constant affection, blessings and invaluable guidance is an inexhaustible source of energy and inspiration for us,” Patel said.

Earlier, while wishing his birthday, Prime Minister Modi said, “Heartiest wishes to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on his birthday. He is playing a leading role in taking Gujarat to new heights of development and fulfilling the aspirations of the people. I wish him long life and good health.”

Responding to Amit Shah’s birthday message, Petal thanked the Union Minister for his “warm wishes”.

“Under the valuable guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and your valuable guidance, I and the team are committed to work tirelessly to give new impetus to the Gujarat rural economy, further strengthen the cooperative sector and ensure overall development of the state through a strong law and order,” Patel wrote on Twitter.

Earlier, Shah had described Patel as being “instrumental in taking Gujarat’s development journey forward” under the leadership of the Prime Minister and wished him good health and long life.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel wrote in an X post, “Today, on the occasion of my birthday, I had the privilege of having a virtual darshan of the first Jyotirling Shri Somnath Mahadev and participating in the Mahapuja. The Rudrabhishek and special puja of Shri Somnath Mahadev was performed by the priests of the temple trust, and those moments were extremely reverent. Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi also got me registered for the special Mahapuja organized in celebration of Swabhiman Parv at Somnath. After this Mahapuja, Therefore, I have taken a vow to visit Somnath temple and have darshan of Mahadev.”

Let us tell you that Bhupendra Patel turned 64 on Wednesday. Bhupendra Patel has been the Chief Minister of Gujarat since September 2021 and has assumed the post of Chief Minister for the second consecutive time following the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2022 assembly elections.

Bhupendra Patel, a civil engineer by profession, was earlier working in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. He heads the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority and represents the Ghatlodiya assembly constituency.

Under his leadership the Gujarat government has continued to focus on industrial investment, infrastructure development, urban governance and welfare programs. Also, several state initiatives are in line with the Centre’s long-term vision of a developed India by 2047.
