After the crushing defeat in the battle of Bihar, Congress again started singing the song of vote theft, blamed SIR for the defeat.

बिहार के रण में करारी शिकस्त के बाद फिर वोट चोरी का राग अलापने लगी कांग्रेस, SIR पर फोड़ा हार का ठीकरा

After the crushing defeat in Bihar assembly elections, Congress called a meeting on Saturday, which was attended by senior Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi. After the meeting, KC Venugopal and Ajay Maken spoke to the media about the Bihar results and alleged vote theft.

Accusations on Election Commission

KC Venugopal accused the Election Commission and said that votes are being stolen. Congress will thoroughly investigate the polling data and then inform the media about the reasons for Congress’s defeat in Bihar. It is noteworthy that Congress had fought the Bihar Assembly elections in alliance with the Grand Alliance. The NDA won around 200 seats, while the Grand Alliance could not even get 40 seats.

Party’s worst performance since 2010

The most important thing is that in the districts of Bihar where Congress had taken out Voter Adhikar Yatra, it had to face a crushing defeat. In Bihar, Congress contested 61 seats and won only six. This was the party’s second-worst performance in Bihar after 2010, when it had won only four seats. On Friday, Rahul Gandhi described the Bihar election results as surprising. He said that Congress and India Bloc will thoroughly review the election results and make more effective efforts to save democracy. In a post written in Hindi on Instagram, Gandhi said, “I express my heartfelt gratitude to the lakhs of voters of Bihar who expressed their faith in the Grand Alliance. This result in Bihar is truly astonishing. We could not have won an election which was not fair from the very beginning.” The leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha said, “This fight is to protect the Constitution and democracy. The Congress Party and India Bloc will thoroughly review this result and make more effective efforts to save democracy.”

What did Mallikarjun Kharge say?

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that respecting the decision of the people of Bihar, his party will continue to fight against those forces who are trying to weaken democracy by misusing constitutional institutions. “We will study the election results thoroughly. We are deeply grateful to the voters of Bihar who supported the ‘Grand Alliance’.”

I want to tell every Congress worker that there is no need to be disappointed. You are our pride, pride and glory. Your hard work is our strength. We will leave no stone unturned in increasing awareness among the people. He said, “We will continue our struggle to save the Constitution and democracy by staying among the people.” The Congress president said, “This is a long battle and we will fight it with full dedication, courage and truth.”
