Hyderabad, July 23 (IANS). Telangana BJP President N. Ramachander Rao on Thursday alleged that the Congress party, anti-India forces and ultra-left groups are sponsoring the protests to create anarchy and disorder in India like Nepal.
He said such efforts will never succeed and claimed that India’s Gen G generation stands firmly with the country and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing a press conference, the BJP leader said that 53 papers were leaked during the Congress party’s rule, but not even once did its education minister resign.
He asked, “Did Revanth Reddy, who also holds the education portfolio, resign after the two papers were leaked in his government?” He said that the same Congress party is now demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Ramachander Rao said it was the Congress that left the country in a situation where there was no unified national examination agency, no specific law to stop paper leaks and no standardized security protocols.
He asked, “When will you apologize for the 53 paper leaks? When will you accept the responsibility for leaving the examination system so weak? When will you stop using the future of India’s youth for politics through foreign funds?”
During this, he also released the poster of ‘Fees Due – BJP Fight’ campaign launched under the banner of Telangana BJP Yuva Morcha. This campaign has been started in protest against the Congress government not releasing the pending fee reimbursement amount.
BJP demanded immediate release of all the pending funds of the students. Ramachander Rao said that the party will continue its struggle until the full amount of fee reimbursement is given and students get justice.
He said, “The KCR-led BRS government had left behind arrears of around Rs 6,000 crore. Under the Revanth Reddy-led Congress government, this amount has increased to around Rs 12,000 crore. This is the real record of the Congress and BRS regarding the welfare of the youth. After ruining the future of lakhs of students, they are now trying to portray themselves as youth-friendly.”
