Tamil Nadu’s new Chief Minister first created a stir by winning the elections with his party, which he founded three years ago. Now, another move by him has once again brought him at the center of public debate. Vijay Thalapathi has appointed his personal astrologer, Thiru Ricky Radhan, to an important post in the Tamil Nadu government – specifically, as ‘Officer on Special Duty’ (OSD) in his office. Radhan Pandit is the same astrologer who had predicted Vijay’s election victory. The government has also issued an official order regarding his appointment.
Vijay’s victory was already predicted
Radhan Pandit had predicted Vijay’s victory even before the elections. He has previously served as a guide at the spiritual center of former Chief Minister Jayalalitha. He is highly respected in the political scene of Tamil Nadu. Jayalalitha also used to consult him before taking any major decision – a fact that has long been a topic of discussion in Tamil Nadu politics. When Vijay won the recent elections, Radhan Pandit was the first person to reach his residence.
Jayalalitha had changed the spelling of her name on his suggestion.
His close relations with many political leaders and his influence on their important decisions are constantly attracting people’s attention. The swearing-in ceremony was initially scheduled for 3:15 pm on 10 May; However, on the advice of his personal astrologer – Radhan Pandit Vetrivel – and citing the need for auspicious *muhurat* (auspicious time), Vijay later rescheduled the event to 10:00 am. It is said that Vetrivel has been guiding Vijay’s destiny at every step during this entire journey. Many prominent politicians, including Jayalalitha, have been regularly seeking astrological guidance from Vetrivel. In fact, J. Jayalalitha had even changed the spelling of her name on his special request.
Tamil Nadu assembly election results were shocking
The results of Tamil Nadu Assembly elections proved to be quite shocking. In a spectacular performance, Vijay’s party – TVK – won 108 of the 234 seats. Although Vijay won enough seats, he did not get an absolute majority. After this, many parties including Congress supported him, due to which he was able to touch the majority mark and played an important role in forming the government. He took the oath of office on the 10th at exactly 10:00 am. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi attended his swearing-in ceremony. After becoming the Chief Minister, Vijay has established himself as the center of power. Apart from this, while taking many important decisions, he has also announced that up to 200 units of electricity will be provided free of cost in the entire state.
