Bihar elections: Grand alliance declares Tejashwi as CM, Mukesh Sahni as deputy CM face

बिहार चुनाव: महागठबंधन ने तेजस्वी को सीएम, मुकेश सहनी को डिप्टी सीएम चेहरा घोषित किया

Patna, October 23 (IANS). The Grand Alliance on Thursday declared Tejashwi Yadav as the chief ministerial candidate for the Bihar assembly elections. Also, Mukesh Sahni was chosen as the Deputy Chief Ministerial candidate.

In the joint press conference of the Grand Alliance, former Rajasthan Chief Minister and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot said that all the parties involved in this alliance have decided that if the Grand Alliance government is formed, then Tejashwi Yadav will be the Chief Minister and VIP chief Mukesh Sahni will become the Deputy Chief Minister.

He also said that other Deputy Chief Ministers will also be made on the basis of social equations. The Congress leader also asked the NDA to declare the face of the Chief Minister. He said that NDA will also have to announce its chief ministerial face. In the last elections, we were not able to form the government due to few seats. This time we are going into the election field with full strength.

The Congress leader said that the people of Bihar want change. Not only Bihar, the condition of the entire country is bad. Accusing BJP of influencing the elections through money power, he said that their model is different in the elections of every state and they go to the election field through the same model. BJP wants to gain power by making false promises and making false allegations against the opposition. Today unemployment has increased in Bihar. Students, youth, farmers, women and common people are troubled.

Let us tell you that the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections will be held on 6th November and the second phase on 11th November. Whereas, counting of votes will take place on November 14. The main contest in the state is between the NDA led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the opposition Grand Alliance.
