Lucknow, May 11 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party state president Pankaj Chaudhary on Monday targeted the Samajwadi Party and said that the SP has now become a ‘party of goons and abusers’. He strongly condemned the alleged indecent remarks of SP MP Ajendra Singh Lodhi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and demanded immediate action from the party leadership.
Pankaj Chaudhary said while talking to the media that the kind of indecent and derogatory language used by the SP MP for the Prime Minister is against democratic norms. This statement is not only an insult to the post of Prime Minister, but is also going to hurt the sentiments of 140 crore people of the country.
The BJP leader said that the post of Prime Minister is not of any political party but is a symbol of honor and pride of the country. He alleged that Samajwadi Party is continuously losing the dignity of language after the election defeat.
Pankaj Chaudhary said that whenever the public rejects SP, its leaders resort to personal comments and abuses. He said that in a healthy democracy there can be political differences, but it is the responsibility of all parties to maintain the dignity of language in public life.
Seeking an answer from the SP chief, he said that if action is not taken against the MP who made comments against the Prime Minister and he is not expelled from the party, then it will be considered that this statement has been given with the consent of the party leadership.
Actually, a statement of SP MP Ajendra Singh Lodhi went viral on social media, in which he had allegedly made objectionable remarks against Prime Minister Modi. Making this an issue, BJP has accused SP of breaking political and moral limits.
