Patna, July 3 (IANS). Rashtriya Janata Dal Vice President Tanveer Hasan targeted BJP over the SIR process, Ram Mandir donation case and Bharat Tiwari murder case. He alleged that the BJP is trying to take electoral advantage by using the SIR process. Also, he demanded a high-level judicial inquiry into the Ram Mandir donation case, saying that the current SIT investigation is not sufficient.
Responding to the letter written by opposition parties to the Chief Justice of India (CJI) seeking intervention in the SIR case, Tanveer Hasan said that this is a very serious matter. He said that this is a very serious issue which has arisen in the country today. BJP has a plan to conquer the fort through SIR. Get SIR done and capture the elections in the state. This is a matter of opposition to democracy, murder of democracy will not be allowed. Opposition parties have said many times that we will not allow democracy to be murdered. If the opposition parties have taken this matter seriously, then it is a very pleasant thing.
Responding to Chirag Paswan’s meeting with Bharat Tiwari’s family, Tanveer Hasan said that the incident is a case of extremely brutal murder, but merely meeting the victim’s family is not enough. They should meet the government to take action on this and not gain cheap popularity. Despite being in the coalition and the government, you are speaking wrong about this matter only among the public, then why don’t you meet the government and get action taken? We believe that a murder has taken place.
On the question of KC Venugopal writing a letter to the Prime Minister demanding investigation under the supervision of the Supreme Court in the Ram Mandir donation theft case, Tanveer Hasan said that even after the theft in this entire matter, some people are trying to justify it under the guise of religion. He said that people have objection to giving us feedback on this issue. Manoj Tiwari has said that the money is ours, the temple is ours, our people have stolen it, are others worried about it? Why are people worried? First of all, the dogmatism with which people are justifying theft under the guise of religion is surprising and very immoral. The government has not yet been able to tell who is the real culprit in this case.
Tanveer Hasan said that the government has not yet been able to tell who is actually responsible for this incident. BJP is trying to save itself on this policy of saving big people and implicating small people. However, he will not succeed in this. This time the public has come to know what kind of their Hindutva is and what kind of indecent activities they are calling as Hindutva. Questioning the SIT constituted by the Uttar Pradesh government, he said that there should be a high-level judicial inquiry in its place.
He said that it is not like the investigation has been done by washing the eyes like SIT has been created by the Uttar Pradesh government. A high level investigation should be conducted into this matter. If any senior and current judge of Judiciary is included in this, then it will be like milk of milk and water of water.
On the statement of Dattatreya Hosabale amid the Ram Mandir donation theft case, Hasan questioned whether the theft had not taken place. Dattatreya Hosbal should tell that there has been no theft in Ram temple? Who else is raising questions? It is the Hindutva people who are raising questions. There is no Muslim in this, neither are Muslims in that management, nor have Muslims given any statement.
He further alleged that the entire issue is just ‘eye wash’. We have been hearing the call to save Hindus for 12 years now. But, Hindus were never in danger. Even before BJP came, there were other governments, even then Hindus were not in danger. Suddenly now Hindus are in danger. These people are giving these slogans only to save themselves. But they will not be able to hide, this time the public will ask them good questions.
