Opposition parties have intensified the recent graduate level examination paper leak case in Uttarakhand. Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on Friday, gave his support to the students’ movement and targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Rahul Gandhi said that today is another name of BJP – paper thief. He wrote in one of his posts on X, “Repeated paper leaks across the country have destroyed the lives and dreams of millions of hardworking youth.”
Rahul wrote, “UKSSC paper leak of Uttarakhand is the latest example of this. Millions of youth worked hard day and night, but the BJP stole all his hard work.”
He wrote, “We are constantly demanding that a strong and transparent system be created to stop the paper leaks. But the Modi government is sitting blindly on it – because they are worried about the unemployment of the youth, but the concern of their power.”
Rahul wrote, “Berozagari is the biggest problem in the country today and it is directly related to vote theft. Paper thieves know – even if the youth will not get employment, they will still remain in power by stealing votes in elections. The youth are on the streets and are giving slogans – ‘Paper thieves, leave the throne!’ This is not just a fight for the youth, it is a fight for justice and democracy.
Significantly, during the competitive examination held on September 21, three pages of the question paper were leaked. In protest, a large number of students are sitting on an indefinite dharna outside the Dehradun parade ground under the banner of the unemployed union.
