CM Nitish Kumar gifts schemes worth Rs 209 crore to Kaimur

सीएम नीतीश कुमार ने कैमूर को 209 करोड़ रुपए की योजनाओं की दी सौगात

Bhabhua, March 24 (IANS). Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Kaimur on Tuesday as part of his Samriddhi Yatra, where he gave many gifts for the convenience of the tourists.

CM Nitish Kumar inspected various development schemes going on here and directed the officials to complete the construction work soon. In this sequence, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 204 developmental schemes at a cost of Rs 209 crore through remote in a program organized near the Minority Residential School of Chainpur block.

These include inauguration of 161 schemes at a cost of Rs 162 crore and foundation stone of 43 schemes at a cost of Rs 47 crore. Taking a big initiative towards giving a new identity to the tourism of the district, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar launched the Jungle Safari and flagged off four tourist vehicles for a tour in the Jungle Safari Wildlife Sanctuary, Kaimur.

The Chief Minister took information about the development of tourist facilities in the tourist places Karkatgarh, Telhar Kund and Vansikhoh located in Adhaura hills, widening and strengthening of Mohania-Dadwan bypass road. During this, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary announced the construction of a high security jail on Adhaura mountain in Kaimur and said that notorious criminals and terrorists will be imprisoned here.

He said that Kaimur, which was known for forests and backwardness before 2005, is now moving forward on the path of rapid development. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, who reached Kaimur during Samriddhi Yatra along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, while addressing the people said that the strong foundation of development in the state has been laid through Nyaya Yatra, Pragati Yatra and Samriddhi Yatra.

He said that before 2005, there was a serious lack of basic facilities in Bihar, but today the situation has completely changed. In this sequence, the Chief Minister also participated in the public dialogue program and held a meeting with officials regarding development works.
