New Delhi, December 8 (IANS). Congress leader Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has hit back at the statement of Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu, in which she said that the post of Chief Minister in Congress is possible only if at least Rs 500 crore is given in the suitcase.
On this statement of Navjot, Randhawa said that Congress is not in danger from anyone in Punjab, but there is definitely danger from such people.
Congress leader Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, while interacting with the media in New Delhi, took a dig at Navjot Kaur Sidhu’s statement that when she joined Congress from BJP, she was later made a minister. He should tell how much money he had to pay to become a minister. Randhawa said that she became the second minister in the government after the Chief Minister. After that he was made PCC President. If you become president, tell me how much money you had to pay. We went with them and stayed with them. But, now what does such a statement mean?
He said that the Chief Minister of the state is inferior to the party president. Navjot should tell how much money he gave when he was made the state president. He said that our workers are with the people for their welfare, in the last three years our workers faced lathicharge, where were you then. He said that there is no threat to Congress in Punjab, but there is danger with people like Navzor Kaur.
At the same time, Congress national spokesperson Surendra Rajput targeted Navjot Kaur Sidhu and said that after falling ill, she might have lost her mental balance due to the effect of medicines. They need a good doctor. Be it Navjot Kaur Sidhu or Navjot Singh Sidhu, both of them came to the Congress party from the Bharatiya Janata Party. So was he staying in BJP with a briefcase? Navjot Kaur Sidhu should know that it was she who never got tired of praising Congress. If the medicines have had a mental effect after the illness, then there is no need to worry or react too much on such people.
