New Delhi, May 28 (IANS). Top Congress leaders greeted the countrymen on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid). Many leaders including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra extended their best wishes and wished for a feeling of unity and brotherhood.
Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge wrote in a post on social media platform Full of blessings.”
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi wrote, “Wishing you and your family a very happy Bakrid. May your home be filled with love and affection today. Eid Mubarak.”
Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wrote, “Happy Eid-ul-Azha to all. May this joyous occasion bring peace, love and prosperity to every home. Wishing happiness, blessings and spirit of unity and brotherhood to all.”
Kerala Chief Minister VD Satheesan wrote, “Bakrid brings the eternal message of sacrifice and selfless devotion. The values it fosters should be reflected in our daily lives and lead the society towards humanity and compassion. May the spiritual light of these festivals give us the strength to face every challenge with courage and hope. Eid Mubarak to all of you.”
Congress leader KC Venugopal also extended his wishes and wished for compassion and brotherhood. In the X post, he wrote, “Heartiest greetings to all of you on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. We wish that this festival becomes a symbol of compassion, brotherhood and joy in our society.”
