Agra, 21 September (IANS). Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya reached Agra on Saturday, where he reviewed the schemes and functioning of various departments with officials. During a conversation with the media, he targeted opposition leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav.
Describing opposition parties as a familist and directionless organization, the deputy CM said, “The future of Samajwadi Party is in darkness. It is like a sinking ship. By 2047, Samajwadi Party will not be able to come to power in Uttar Pradesh, Congress center and RJD in Bihar. These three parties are in stress and depression.”
Keshav Maurya lashed out at Akhilesh Yadav and said, “Akhilesh Yadav is looking at Saifai’s glasses, so he does not see the development happening in the state. He should get treatment with a good doctor, but I do not want him to come to Agra.”
He further said that all these leaders are watching ‘Mungerilal’s dreams’, but the public knows that it is impossible to return to power.
The Deputy CM described the recently announced GST amendment as ‘revolutionary step’ and said that the revised GST will be implemented by 22 September, which will give direct benefit to the common man. “This is a concrete step towards controlling inflation and giving relief to the public,” he said.
On the issue of roads damaged due to heavy rains and floods in Uttar Pradesh recently, Maurya said that survey work is going on and the rebuilding of roads will be started soon. He said that the damage caused by floods will also be compensated in a timely manner.
On the protest against SIR, he said, “Those who are out of power are opposing it.
He said, “Opposing the right things for Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav has become a fashion, but the country will no longer tolerate this fashion.”
