Congress’s symbol has become a guarantee of defeat: Shahnawaz Hussain

कांग्रेस का सिंबल बन चुका है हार की गारंटी: शाहनवाज हुसैन

New Delhi-Patna, November 18 (IANS). Taking aim at the Congress party, senior BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain said that today the symbol of Congress has become a guarantee not of victory but of defeat. This statement of Shahnawaz Hussain has come at a time when, after the bumper victory of NDA in the recent Bihar elections, the opposition parties raised questions on the impartiality of the Election Commission.

While talking to IANS in New Delhi, Shahnawaz Hussain said that Congress has faced a crushing defeat. He did not get a single seat in Delhi, but managed to win six seats in Bihar. These are the seats where the candidates won on the basis of their merit. Today the election symbol of Congress does not guarantee victory but defeat. The symbol of Congress is a guarantee of defeat.

He said that the Congress party forgets all decorum and uses abusive language. Objectionable remarks were made against PM Modi during the Voter Adhikar Yatra. The public had decided that the answer would be given in the elections. The election results testify that Congress has been punished for its deeds.

Referring to Rahul Gandhi, the BJP leader said that he used to say that he had a hydrogen bomb, we think it exploded in his place and got six seats in Bihar.

Hussain said that after the defeat in Bihar, Congress should introspect as to why the situation worsened.

BJP leader Raju Singh in Patna said that making allegations after the defeat is a pre-planned conspiracy on the part of the Grand Alliance. When these people lose, they blame EVMs and the Election Commission and talk about vote theft. It is not new for these people to say such things.

Regarding Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishore, he said that managing elections and contesting elections are different tasks. Prashant Kishore must have understood this.

On swearing in, he said that the people of Bihar have given such a huge mandate and PM Modi is coming to honor the people of Bihar.

BJP leader Jeevan Kumar said that Robert Vadra is not a politician, he is a corrupt person. He does not understand politics, people’s mandate or public opinion. When his party, led by leaders like Indira Gandhi, was in power, all he did was corruption.
