Bareilly, February 3 (IANS). Political controversy continues regarding the trailer of the film ‘Godaan’. Meanwhile, President of All India Muslim Jamaat, Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi has demanded from the Yogi government of the Center and the state that cow should be declared as the national animal.

This statement of Maulana Shahabuddin has come when recently Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had released the poster of the film ‘Godaan’ along with the cast of the film.

Speaking to IANS in Bareilly, Shahabuddin Razvi said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath released the poster of the film Godaan at his residence. He said that the cow issue has always been a cause of debate and communal tension from the Mughal period to the British period and after independence. Therefore, I appeal to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Government of India to declare the cow as the national animal, so that many such controversies can end.

He appealed to the Muslims to rear the cow, take care of it and use its milk.

Let us tell you that the film ‘Godaan’ dedicated to cow protection has been in the news since its poster release. The film will be released on 6 February.

On January 31, the producer-director of the film met CM Yogi.

‘Godaan’ is based on the role of Gomata in Indian culture, where cow is worshiped as mother and god. Lord Shri Krishna has also given the knowledge of protection of religion and cow protection in Geeta. CM Yogi also talks about cow protection in the state and after coming to power, many illegal slaughter houses are banned. This film gives the message of cow protection and this was the reason why the makers of the film met CM Yogi.

Apart from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also launched the trailer of the film. CM had said that the trailer and poster of the first of its kind film ‘Godaan’ dedicated to the glory of Mother Cow has been launched. The film will be released on 6 February. This film underlines the importance of mother cow in Indian culture, which will inspire the young generation to participate in the efforts of cow conservation.
