Patna’s historic Sadaqat Ashram again built battlefield
This meeting of the Congress is not being held at any common place, but its center is the historic Sadaqat Ashram of Patna. This is the same place where great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Rajendra Prasad and Jawaharlal Nehru made a strategy for the independence of the country. The last time before independence in 1940, such a big meeting of the Congress was held here. Today, 85 years later, history is repeating itself. After meeting at this historic place, the Congress is giving a big political message that it is coming up again by joining its roots. The meeting will include almost all 170 members of party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and CWC.
Big problems of Bihar and country in Congress agenda
The main agenda of this meeting is not just to make an election strategy, but it will do intensive thinking on the important issues of Bihar and the whole country. There will be talk on the preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar, as well as sensitive issues like transparency in the election and disturbances in the investigation of voter list will also be discussed. The Congress has already questioned the freedom of the Election Commission regarding these irregularities.
Apart from this, the Congress will also focus on the problems of the entire country, including inflation, unemployment, increasing atrocities against women and diplomatic failures. The party is preparing to surround the central government on these issues.
Rahul Gandhi’s recent ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ is expected to be highly appreciated in the meeting. During this visit, Rahul Gandhi traveled 1300 km in 25 districts of Bihar for 16 days. The main objective of his visit was to stop the theft of vote and make people aware of their franchise.
