CM Yogi wrote in a post on social media platform ‘X’ that today, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will dedicate the grand ‘Navas Shaurya Vatika’ built in Lucknow to the nation. Spread over 2 acres, this complex is a living symbol of our Navy’s indomitable courage and modern capabilities. Uttar Pradesh’s heartfelt salute to the bravery of our brave sailors. Jai Hind!
According to official information, Defense Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh will attend the inauguration ceremony in his constituency on May 30. After their arrival at Lucknow airport, the event at Naval Shaurya Vatika is scheduled between 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday.
During his visit, Rajnath Singh will also take final stock of the Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway. With this expressway, the travel time between the two cities will be significantly reduced to about 45-50 minutes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to dedicate it to the nation after June 15.
Let us tell you that Naval Shaurya Vatika has been developed as an open-air naval museum in collaboration with the Indian Navy and Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department.
The facility aims to provide visitors with a deeper understanding of India’s maritime heritage through decommissioned naval assets, interpretive displays and interactive exhibitions, officials said. These are designed to increase awareness of the Navy’s role in national security and maritime operations.
The inauguration of the Naval Valor Park is expected to showcase India’s naval achievements as well as highlight the major infrastructure development works undertaken in Uttar Pradesh under the state and central governments.
