New Delhi, June 21 (IANS). There is an atmosphere of excitement among party leaders and workers over the election of senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dr. Alka Gurjar as a Rajya Sabha member. BJP leaders have described it as an honor for the party’s dedicated workers and women leadership.
After being nominated to Rajya Sabha, Dr. Alka Gurjar expressed gratitude to the top leadership of the party. Talking to reporters, she said, “She will continue to work with full dedication and dedication for the trust that BJP has reposed in her. No matter what the post, a BJP worker always works keeping the organization and national interest paramount.”
Dr. Alka Gurjar also spoke on the topic of women empowerment. He said, “After 2014, many important steps have been taken towards giving respect, security and political participation to women.”
Referring to schemes like ‘Lakhpati Didi’ and ‘Drone Didi’, he said that these initiatives have played an important role in making women financially self-reliant. He also said that through the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, a historic initiative has been taken towards increasing the political participation of women. She assured that whatever responsibility the party assigns to advance women’s participation and empowerment, she will fulfill it with full devotion.
Congratulating Dr. Alka Gurjar on her election to the Rajya Sabha, BJP MP Harsh Malhotra said, “This is a moment of pride and joy for the BJP family. Dr. Alka Gurjar has been serving as co-in-charge of Delhi BJP for a long time, and she has always guided the workers like a family member. Her leadership and behavior have constantly inspired the workers.” Malhotra said that considering his loyalty and dedication to the party, sending him to Rajya Sabha is a completely appropriate decision.
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari also praised Dr. Alka Gurjar, saying, “She has played an important role in strengthening the Delhi BJP. When she came as the co-in-charge of Delhi, the organization got new energy and in the subsequent years the BJP achieved many important political successes.”
He expressed confidence that as a Rajya Sabha member, Dr. Alka Gurjar will not only represent Rajasthan but will also provide leadership and inspiration to women across the country.
