Due to courtly culture of Congress Party, leaders are leaving ‘Haath’: Rohan Gupta

कांग्रेस पार्टी की दरबारी संस्कृति के कारण नेता

Ahmedabad, March 18 (IANS). On the resignation of former Congress MP Pradyut Bordoloi, BJP leader Rohan Gupta said that the leaders are leaving the party due to the courtly culture.

Speaking to IANS in Ahmedabad, BJP leader Rohan Gupta said that even before this, many key leaders have resigned from the party and whenever any leader has resigned from the Congress party, instead of listening to his views, he has been attacked and put in the dock. After all, how many people will Congress put in the dock? This is Darbari Congress, whenever voice is raised against the courtiers, they will be shown the way out.

He said that Pradyut Bordoloi’s resignation from Congress is not just an incident, but another picture of the continuously declining credibility of Congress. One by one, old and experienced leaders of the party are leaving Congress. Earlier too, many leaders have clearly said that they feel neglected due to lack of communication with the high command and the courtly culture in the party. Today the situation is such that decisions are taken in closed rooms instead of grassroots leaders and the voices of dedicated workers and senior leaders are suppressed. As a result, Congress is becoming hollow from within and seems to be gradually disintegrating. What will the people do if the party is not trusted by its own leaders?

On the opposition’s claim on the LPG crisis, he said that the country’s government is handling this entire matter with full sensitivity. Despite the conflict in the Middle East, India is the only country where petrol prices have not increased. Prices have increased in other countries. The panic button pressed by the opposition is the reason why LPG bookings have increased from 50 lakh to 88 lakh. The government has acted without giving any answer. The safety of the people of the country is the priority of the government. But, the opposition is busy doing politics.

He said that when the world is facing uncertainties and crises, India is moving forward on the basis of its determination and leadership. ‘Jag Ladki’ flying the Indian flag at Mundra Port in Gujarat not only arrived with 80,886 MT of crude, but also brought the message that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India is full of confidence about its energy security. This tanker tearing through the waves of the sea tells the story of a new India which, amidst every challenge, gives priority to the needs of its 140 crore citizens and creates its own path to move forward in every situation.
