Mumbai, June 20 (IANS). The wedding celebration of Revati Sule, daughter of Nationalist Congress Party (SP) MP Supriya Sule, was star-studded in Mumbai.
From concerts to weddings, the festivities were attended by many well-known personalities from business, politics and entertainment. Several prominent personalities from the business world graced the occasion, including Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani and his wife Preeti Adani.
From the film industry, Amitabh Bachchan attended the event with his wife Jaya Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda. Other prominent personalities from the entertainment world including Shahrukh Khan, Jackie Shroff and Ravi Kishan were also present.
Political leaders who attended the ceremony included Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, NCP-SP leader Rohit Pawar, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) founder Ghulam Nabi Azad, AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat also attended the wedding. Supriya Sule’s daughter Revati Sule is an alumnus of the London School of Economics, while her husband Sarang Lakhani is an alumnus of Columbia Business School.
Sarang is the son of Nagpur businessman and politician Arun Lakhani. Before the wedding, a video of the sangeet ceremony went viral on social media.
In this video, Shahrukh Khan was seen dancing on the popular song ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ from his film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ during the music festival.
Singer Rahul Vaidya shared this video on his official Instagram handle and wrote in the caption that King Khan graced our stage. It was a wonderful night for Revati and Sarang.
Rahul Vaidya also performed at the wedding ceremony. Shahrukh Khan was seen in new hairstyle in black clothes. The actor is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘King’ directed by Siddharth Anand.
