A total of nine stalls of products prepared from natural farming were set up in the Assembly premises, where it was demonstrated that high quality crops can be grown even without chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
After the inauguration, the Governor and other guests visited the stall and interacted with the progressive farmers. Several units including Kamdhenu Natural and Natural Farming Farm, Adessar Area Farm Producer Company Limited, Ramiba and Ramaba Natural Farming Farm, Neer Natural Farm and Pratenma Natural Farm participated in the exhibition.

Speaking to reporters, Gujarat Assembly Speaker Shankar Chaudhary said, “Poison-free farming, i.e. natural farming, is like nectar. A big problem across the world is that the use of fertilizers and pesticides in farming is having a very bad effect on the quality of the produce. To save the future generations, it is very important for us to move towards natural farming.”
Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat said, “First of all, I would like to express my special thanks to the Speaker of our Legislative Assembly, Shankar Choudhary, for giving serious issues like natural farming the importance they truly deserve, an urgent need that our country, human society and nature require today.”
He said that today farmers are saving Rs 5 to 7 lakh through natural farming, due to which the land is becoming fertile and there is happiness among the farmers. Where this type of farming is taking place, the carbon there has gone up from one percent to two and a half to three percent. Water and expenses are being saved as well as production is increasing.
The objective of this exhibition is to provide a platform at the state level to the farmers adopting natural farming and to give recognition to their efforts. Governor Acharya Devvrat has been promoting natural farming and rural development for a long time. He has been motivating farmers to adopt sustainable farming, improve soil health and reduce costs.
