New Delhi, January 30 (IANS). On the statement of former Vice President Hamid Ansari, BJP leader RP Singh said that this is not the first time that Hamid Ansari has given such statements. If they are saying this then they should also say that Congress made a mistake by dividing the country and Pakistan is a part of India.
Speaking to IANS, BJP leader RP Singh said that Hamid Ansari keeps saying such things which reflect a particular ideology. It seems that they are presenting a particular interpretation of Islam. By saying this they want to give the message that Ghazni did not attack India, did not plunder the country seventeen times and did not attack the Somnath temple. His statement appears to be a distortion of historical facts. If he wants to say then say that Congress made a mistake by dividing the country and Pakistan is a part of India.
On the statement of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, BJP leader RP Singh said that when the SIT report comes, the truth will become clear. It seems that Gaurav Gogoi is in the dock and has no answers. Had it been so, he would have filed a defamation case against Himanta Biswa Sarma by now.
On Hamid Ansari’s statement, Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Sadhvi Prachi said that Hamid Ansari considered himself an Indian while in office, but after leaving the post of Vice President, he has started saying such things. Hamid Ansari should tell whether Ghazni was a robber or not. Congress presented history with a distorted mentality. Now the opportunity has come under the BJP government that the truth of history is coming to the fore. Why is Hamid Ansari having stomach ache? Because they will never come to power.
