Harbhajan Singh, who was a big face of Indian cricket and played an important role with his spinning balls in making the Indian team champion in T20 World Cup 2007 and ODI World Cup 2011, was elected to Rajya Sabha from Punjab in 2022 as a member of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Due to differences in 2026, 7 Rajya Sabha MPs of AAP under the leadership of Raghav Chadha had announced to leave the party and join Bharatiya Janata Party. Among these 7 MPs, one name is Harbhajan Singh.
After leaving AAP and joining BJP, Harbhajan Singh is facing huge opposition from AAP workers. AAP workers raised slogans and protested against Harbhajan Singh after his house in Jalandhar. Harbhajan Singh is also facing a lot of criticism on social media. AAP workers are also advising him to leave the membership of Rajya Sabha.
