Indian citizens became emotional after meeting PM Modi in Rome, said – May the country always get such a Prime Minister

Rome, May 20 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi has met members of the Indian community during his visit to Italy. Indian citizens expressed their happiness on this and said that India should always get a Prime Minister like him, so that the country continues on the path of development and welfare.

Sanatan Dharma Sangh member and an Indian citizen said, “Prime Minister Modi’s presence is very impressive. He has come to Italy, seeing whom every Indian is very happy. Today the country of India is moving forward and may it continue to move forward like this.”

He told that they are associated with Sanatan Dharma Sangh and propagate Sanatan Dharma in Italy. During the meeting with PM Modi, there was discussion about temples. The Indian citizen further said, “We only pray that our Sanatan Dharma should grow much further. Last time we had a conversation, there were 22 temples in Italy, today there are about 40 temples here.”

He also told that his organization along with promoting Sanatan in Italy, teaches Sanskrit to Italian children, teaches them yoga and gives information about Sanatan Dharma.

Another member of the Indian community said, “Today I felt as if I had met God. This is the second time I am meeting him and I felt very happy to meet him.”

Another Indian expatriate said, “I have met PM Modi for the first time. He shook hands with me. I felt very happy.” At the same time, one person said, “I live in Milan. From there I have come to Rome by train, so that I can meet PM Modi. We thank our Prime Minister.”

Similarly, another Indian said, “It is a pleasure to meet PM Modi. I wish him a long life. Also pray that India always gets a Prime Minister like him, so that the country continues on the path of development and welfare.”

During his visit to Italy, Italian painter Giampaolo Tomasetti presented a painting of the ghats of Kashi to Prime Minister Modi. He said, “I told him (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) that the purpose of this painting was to show him that there was a bridge between his vision and the colorful India as seen by an Italian artist. He appreciated it. He asked me how much time it took to make this painting, to which I replied that about two weeks.”

At the same time, in Rome, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given a cultural welcome by the Indian community and Italian artists. Italian dancers performed Bharatnatyam, Kathak and Kuchipudi dances, while musicians played Indian classical instruments.
