Taking a major step towards making India’s national security impregnable, the central government has started the ‘Mission Sudarshan Chakra’. After a detailed presentation in front of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, this mission has been officially approved. This mission will make India’s important public and strategic establishments, especially ISRO and nuclear plants completely safe from enemy attacks.
Mission’s purpose and implementation
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has formed a special committee to determine the cost and scope of this mission. According to sources, this mission will be implemented in a phased manner, in which the first focus will be on providing security to the most important and sensitive areas of the country.
The name of this mission is inspired by Lord Shri Krishna’s ‘Sudarshan Chakra’, which was mentioned by Prime Minister Modi in the speech of his Red Fort. He had said that just as Lord Krishna had transformed the day with his Sudarshan Chakra in the night, similarly India also wants to make its security impregnable.
Why is ‘Mission Sudarshan Chakra’?
This mission is extremely important for India, especially given the current global security scenario. During the recent ‘Operation Sindoor’, Pakistan had tried to fract several missiles on India, which was successfully thwarted by India’s advanced S-400 air defense system. This incident made India realize the need for a comprehensive security shield that could deal with all kinds of threats.
In today’s time, wars are being fought on the basis of long distance weapons, nuclear weapons and advanced missile defense systems, not in traditional methods. Therefore, keeping in mind the national security, the ‘Mission Sudarshan Chakra’ is an essential step. Even though Pakistan has fewer missiles than India, other rival countries in India have a large number of missiles, which pose a major threat to India’s security.
What will be the benefit of ‘Sudarshan Chakra’?
The main goal of ‘Mission Sudarshan Chakra’ is to provide a strong and modern security shield to all major public places and strategic centers in India by 2035. This safety shield will not only protect against missile attacks, but will also effectively compete with drones and other air threats.
This mission will have a qualitative improvement in India’s defense capabilities. It will establish India as a determinant power against its enemies, as the enemy countries will think twice before attacking India. This will further strengthen India’s reliable immunity, which is extremely important for an atomic power.
The launch of ‘Mission Sudarshan Chakra’ is a new chapter in India’s defense preparations. This will not only secure the boundaries of the country, but will also ensure its economic progress and safety of citizens.
