Even though BJP is defeating Congress in the electoral arena, there is one area where Congress is number one. More Congress videos are being watched on YouTube than BJP. In this matter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also behind Rahul Gandhi’s Congress.
People want to listen to Congress
Data analysis company Data Beings has released YouTube data for the week of November 15 to 21. In this data, Congress is at the forefront, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi is at second place, while his party BJP is at fourth place. Rahul Gandhi has been making big revelations for some time now. Even before Bihar elections, he had made serious allegations of irregularities in the voter list. Despite these revelations, Congress suffered a crushing defeat in Bihar, but YouTube data shows that people want to listen to Congress.
Seen Congress more than Modi
The official YouTube channel of Congress (Indian National Congress) has 6.9 million subscribers. This figure is much less than Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 29.5 million subscribers. Despite this, Congress got the highest number of views between 15 and 21 November. Data shows that the Congress channel got 28 million views and 39% view share during this period. Whereas, PM Modi’s official channel got 17.7 million views and 25% view share. This channel posts videos related to all the activities of the Prime Minister, including “Mann Ki Baat”. These figures show that people saw Congress more than PM Modi.
BJP also lags behind the youth wing of Congress
Indian Youth Congress (IYC) stood third in this matter. The Congress Youth Wing’s YouTube channel received 11.9 million views between 15 and 21 November, with a view share of 17%. Youth Congress has 2.92 million subscribers, while BJP is at fourth place. The party’s channel (Bharatiya Janata Party) has 6.3 million subscribers. BJP got a total of 8.4 million views and 12% view share. In this case, both Congress and its youth wing performed much better than BJP.
Kejriwal’s AAP at number 5
Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) remained at fifth position. The party’s YouTube channel, which has a subscriber base of 7.47 million, received 3.3 million views between November 15 and November 21, with a 5% view share. The YouTube channels of Aam Aadmi Party Punjab and Aam Aadmi Party Gujarat also featured in the top 10, garnering 0.6 million and 0.4 million views respectively.
Gadkari and Shivraj Singh Chauhan got so many views
Among political leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stood at second position, while Nitin Gadkari stood at seventh position. Gadkari’s YouTube channel, which has 1.32 million subscribers, received 0.6 million views and 1% view share. Union Agriculture Minister and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan remained at 10th position. Shivraj’s official channel got 0.4 million views and 1% view share.
These figures say a lot. These figures, numbers 15 to 21, show who people saw the most on social media immediately after the results of Bihar elections. BJP got a big victory, while Congress and its allies were completely shattered. People generally don’t see or hear a loser. Therefore, these figures say a lot.
