Patna, November 17 (IANS). After the defeat in Bihar elections, the main constituent party of the Grand Alliance, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), held a review meeting on Monday. The defeat was discussed in this meeting and all the newly elected MLAs elected Tejashwi Yadav as the leader of the legislative party. Janata Dal United (JDU) has taken a strong dig at this review meeting of RJD.
Bihar JDU’s chief spokesperson Neeraj Kumar said that what is RJD reviewing? He should review what his daughter Rohini Acharya has mentioned. Rohini Acharya said that Rameez Khan is an ally and became an election strategist. He said that information was received from the media that he is an accused in 11 cases in Balrampur and Kaushambi of UP. He is a history-sheeter and he has become your strategist. She had an important role in Tejashwi’s social media team.
He further said, “When RJD is accused of being a jungle raj, it becomes restless. So, is Rameez the abbot of some monastery? What is this? When goons, criminals, mawali, history-sheeters and those accused in various cases are RJD’s strategists, then whose support did they take? In response to that, the public also buried RJD in the pages of political history by saying that they belong to jungle raj.”
Earlier, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) held a review meeting on Monday. The election defeat was reviewed in this meeting. It was acknowledged in the meeting that the party could not convey its message to the people properly. RJD leader Sanjeev Kumar, who came out after leaving the meeting, said that Tejashwi Yadav was elected the leader of the legislature party in the meeting and all the MLAs supported it.
He said this outcome was not meant to happen. Such a result cannot occur without some error. He said that plans are also being made to go to court. In the meeting, directions were given to regroup and strengthen the organization. He said that this is a shocking result.
Former RJD state president Jagdanand Singh said that there were irregularities in the election results. This was reviewed in the meeting. Democracy cannot be business. No one had any idea that the condition of the party would be like this.
