Judicial inquiry into Bhojpur encounter case will reveal the truth, culprits will not be spared: Shravan Kumar

Patna, June 22 (IANS). Bihar Government Minister Shravan Kumar has expressed deep grief over the death of youth Bharat Bhushan Tiwari during an alleged police encounter in Bhojpur district, calling it an unfortunate incident. He said that the state government is fully committed to bringing out the truth of the case and ensuring action against the culprits.

Bihar Government Minister Shravan Kumar while talking to the media said that Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has taken this incident seriously and has ordered a judicial inquiry with the aim of ensuring a transparent investigation. He said that after the completion of the investigation, the reality of the entire matter will come out and it will become clear who is responsible for the incident.

He said, “We deeply regret this incident. Through judicial investigation, milk will be turned into milk and water will be dissolved.” He said in clear words that if any person is found guilty in the investigation, he will not be spared at any cost. Strict punitive action will be taken as per law and the culprits will be punished for their actions.

He said that the Bihar government is committed to the principles of rule of law and good governance and justice will not be compromised in any case. At the same time, on a question asked about the active role of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar in the party, Minister Shravan Kumar said that Nishant Kumar is young and for a long time there was a demand from the party workers and leaders to give him active responsibility in the organization. Keeping this demand in mind, he was included in the party.

He said that after joining the party, Nishant Kumar is actively working for the organization. Besides, he has also played a positive role on various government programs and issues related to public interest. The Minister said that giving opportunities to young leadership is the need of the hour and Nishant Kumar is discharging his responsibilities effectively.
