New Delhi, April 3 (IANS). Congress MP Tariq Anwar has hit back at the statement of senior party leader Kamal Nath regarding the LPG cylinder crisis. He said that Kamal Nath should go outside the gas agency and see before giving his statement, the whole situation will become clear.
Kamal Nath supported the Indian government’s stand on the LPG issue and said that there is no shortage of cylinders. Just unnecessary rumors are being spread.
Congress MP Tariq Anwar said while talking to IANS that now who should explain to Kamal Nath how wrong his statement is. If someone talks or argues like this, it is ridiculous. This is something that needs to be seen and felt. Just go and stand outside any gas agency and you will understand whether there is a gas crisis or not.
He said that women are worried that they are not able to give food to children on time, children are forced to go to school without food. Workers have started going back to their villages, they fear that they will no longer be able to survive in the city.
The Congress MP said that despite facing so much trouble, I am surprised when Kamal Nath makes such a statement. It is wrong to make such an argument.
On Congress leader Anand Sharma praising India’s diplomacy in dealing with the West Asia crisis, Tariq Anwar said that I do not understand what is the basis of what he is saying about India’s foreign policy and diplomatic attitude. The general opinion is that India has no role or interference in the events happening around the world. If someone says that India’s foreign policy is very good, it may be his personal opinion.
Taking a jibe at the statement of AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi, the Congress MP said that Asaduddin Owaisi uses such language which benefits the Bharatiya Janata Party and its leaders. His words send a direct message, strengthen the Bharatiya Janata Party.
