New Delhi, May 27 (IANS). These days, people are troubled by the scorching sun and heatwave in different parts of the country. At many places the temperature has reached more than 45. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed concern about the increasing heat. Along with this, PM Modi urged the countrymen to take as much caution as possible. Keep yourself hydrated, carry water with you while leaving the house.

He also appealed to the people to give a glass of water to any thirsty person in this summer season. I would also appreciate people who keep water in pots outside their homes and shops so that anyone can drink water from them. PM Modi made several posts one after the other on social media.

Prime Minister Modi wrote on social media platform I urge all the countrymen to take as much caution as possible. Please keep yourself hydrated, carry water with you whenever you step out of the house. In such weather, your sensitivity also becomes a great support. If possible, give a glass of water to a thirsty person. I will also appreciate those people who keep water in pots outside their homes and shops so that anyone can drink water from them.

In another post, he wrote, “Whenever possible, call your parents, grandparents and other loved ones and ask about their well-being. Advise them to drink enough water, avoid going out in the hot afternoon sun and take as much rest as possible.

PM Modi further wrote, “In this scorching heat, we should not forget the animals and birds around us. Keeping a small vessel filled with water outside your house, balcony, terrace, shop or office can also become a lifeline for a thirsty bird. Let us take care of each other with utmost sensitivity and compassion in these difficult days.
