Khatima, 7 February (IANS). Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the winter carnival organized at Government College, Khatima on Saturday. During this, CM said that youth power is the biggest strength of the nation and this is our future.
CM Dhami posted on the social media platform ‘X’ and said that he reached the winter carnival organized by the student union of Government College, Khatima and addressed the artists and youth and encouraged them. Youth power is the biggest strength of the nation and it is our future.
He further said that the government is continuously working to make the youth empowered and self-reliant. Effective and stringent laws have been implemented with the aim of connecting the youth with employment and recognizing their abilities, talents and potential so that merit gets the highest priority. As a positive result of these efforts, more than 28,000 youth have got employment so far in the state.
While addressing the program, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that I came to know that for the first time in the Winter Carnival, a spiritual and cultural initiative like Bhajan Clubing has been started. This type of initiative is not just an initiative, a programme, but a symbol of our eternal culture, traditions and youth consciousness. This proves that along with modernity, our youth is strongly connected to their roots, their culture and heritage.
The biggest achievement of these events is to give a positive message to the youth through music, devotion and culture. Congratulated the student union for organizing such an event.
Along with this, CM Dhami reached the house of former District Panchayat member in Khatima, where he expressed deep condolences on the demise of Ram Singh Jethi’s wife. Also, on the demise of BJP leader Dhillu Singh Rana and senior social worker Jashodhar Bhatt, he reached his residence in Kanjabagh and paid tribute.
