Congress candidate Acharya Pramod Krishnam has left all other candidates behind in election expenses. The details of expenditure till May 2 have been filed by the candidates. Acharya Pramod Krishnam is at the forefront with an expenditure of Rs 40.10 lakh. In second place is Rajnath Singh who spent Rs 19.44 lakh during this period. Poonam Sinha stood third with an expenditure of Rs 15.23 lakh.
Congress candidate RK Chaudhary has shown the highest expenditure on Mohanlalganj Lok Sabha seat. He spent Rs 44.60 lakh. BJP candidate Kaushal Kishore has spent Rs 37.11 lakh and CL Verma has spent Rs 15.97 lakh. Chief Treasury Officer Sanjay Singh said that after the counting of votes on 23rd, a letter will be issued to all the candidates by the District Election Officer. It will be told what details of expenditure have to be given on June 17.

Will make Kalki Peeth in Lucknow: Pramod
Congress’ Lucknow candidate Acharya Pramod Krishnam has expressed his gratitude to the people of Lucknow by releasing a video on Wednesday. He also thanked the religious leaders of all religions and the public for their support. Acharya Pramod is going to Madhya Pradesh as a star campaigner to campaign for Congress. He will return to Lucknow on 22 May. Said that he wants to open a branch of Kalki Peeth in Lucknow.
Acharya Pramod Krishnam said that the people of Lucknow charmed him. He wants to see Kalki Peeth, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Kaliyuga, in Lucknow. He expressed his gratitude to religious leaders Mahant Devya Giri of Mankameshwar Math and Maulana Farangi Mahali for their help. Also expressed gratitude to Praspa chief Shivpal Yadav and Shia religious leader Maulana Kalbe Jawwad.
Elections: Army votes will be counted separately
Lucknow. Army votes will be counted separately. That means the remaining postal ballot votes will not be counted along with the army votes. The Election Commission has issued orders in this regard on Wednesday. Barcode has also been provided in the army postal ballot. The envelope containing the vote will be checked through a scanner. After this the votes will be counted.
On the other hand, DM Kaushal Raj Sharma said that the work of randomization i.e. their allocation for which employees will be deployed in counting of votes will be done on May 10. The final randomization will take place early morning on the 23rd, the day of counting. DM informed that the first training of the employees will take place on May 16. A total of 15 tables will be set up in one VIS area.
