In various parts of the country including Chhattisgarh, the great festival Chhath Puja, a symbol of faith and devotion, was duly completed on Tuesday with Arghya offered at sunrise. This difficult fast lasting four days was concluded by offering Arghya to the Sun God and receiving blessings.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai joined the devotees at Chhath Ghat in Pusaur Assembly constituency and offered Suryoday Arghya.
While talking to the media, he said that this festival is a symbol of gratitude towards the sun and nature. It is my wish that there should be happiness, peace and prosperity in everyone’s life. New Chhath Ghats were constructed in many parts of the state, which was approved by the Chief Minister himself. Adequate arrangements for cleanliness, lighting and security were made at the ghats.
On the occasion of Chhath Mahaparva, CM Sai said that first as MLA and now as Chief Minister, it has been my endeavor to participate in Chhath celebrations, worship Lord Surya and join with the devotees during this holy festival. This time also I got this auspicious opportunity.
He told that Arghya was offered on Monday evening and Arghya was offered on Tuesday morning. The Chief Minister wished that there should be happiness, prosperity and prosperity in everyone’s home. Along with this, approval has been given for the construction of Chhath Ghats in Pusaur area to increase the facilities for Chhath Puja.

On the implementation of SIR, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that it is a good step and we welcome the decision of the Election Commission. The Election Commission should ensure that the SIR process is implemented properly.
