New Delhi, January 1 (IANS). On the auspicious occasion of New Year 2026, President of India Draupadi Murmu and Vice President CP Radhakrishnan have extended hearty greetings and good wishes to all Indians living in the country and abroad.
Both the top constitutional officials described the New Year as an opportunity for new energy, positive change and building a strong India.
President Draupadi Murmu said in his message that New Year is a time of joy and enthusiasm. This is not only an occasion for celebration but also for introspection and taking new resolutions.
He said that the new year inspires us to consider our personal and collective goals and pursue them strongly.
The President appealed to the countrymen that in the New Year 2026, we all should further strengthen our commitment towards the country’s development, social harmony and environmental protection.
He said that these values are the foundation of building a strong and inclusive India. In his message, the President wished that the year 2026 brings peace, happiness and prosperity in everyone’s life and provides new energy to our resolve to build a strong and bright India.
At the same time, Vice President CP Radhakrishnan also wished all the citizens on the New Year 2026. He said that the coming year should bring peace, good health, happiness and prosperity in everyone’s life.
The Vice President also said that the New Year should further strengthen our collective resolve so that together we can build a developed and strong India.
