'Modi is not the job of the public, it is the right of the people: Congress

Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) President Rajesh Kumar said on Saturday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not right to decide whether the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha is ‘Jannayak’ or not, but the public has given him this title.

He made this comment on Prime Minister Modi’s statement in which he said that “social media trolls cannot make anyone a public” and cautioned the people of Bihar that the title of “Jannayak” is being tried to “steal”.

It is noteworthy that the address of “Jannayak” has been associated with former Chief Minister and Karpoori Thakur, who was awarded Bharat Ratna.

Kumar while addressing a press conference at the state Congress headquarters ‘Sadakat Ashram’ said, “Rahul Gandhi is calling the public public and justice warrior. The Prime Minister cannot order him in this matter. This is the right of the people, not Modi. ”

He said that the Congress submitted a memorandum to the Election Commission team, which was on a state visit under the leadership of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Kumar said, “We have told the Commission about our objections regarding special intensive revision (SIR). There are many disturbances in the final voter list. For example, more than 100 people of the same house have been shown voters in a booth. We also challenged that the Commission should tell how many foreign nationals have been wrongly recorded as voters.

On this occasion, Congress Legislature Party leader Shakeel Ahmed Khan said, “Institutions like Election Commission are formed in a long time, but if these autonomous bodies stop working in a fair manner, then their credibility is lost in a moment.”

He regretted that “the Commission often remains silent on the allegations made by our leader Rahul Gandhi or the Congress, but the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the center immediately becomes active.” This leads to a very wrong message. ”

Congress leaders said that all the objections regarding SIR have been put before the Commission, but they will also be presented before the Supreme Court, where the petitions challenging the process are likely to be heard next week.
