The politics of Bihar is very hot these days. During the monsoon season, where the rain drops are raining from the sky, there are sharp things like bullets on the stage of politics. Congress leader and former JNU Students Union President Kanhaiya Kumar, while addressing a public meeting, targeted the BJP and Nitish Kumar government fiercely. He said, “This time in the monsoon, there are more bullets than water.” His statement has created a stir in Bihar politics.
Kanhaiya attacked BJP and Nitish government
Kanhaiya Kumar directly attacked both the state government and the Center. He alleged that the problem of crime and unemployment in Bihar is constantly increasing, but the government only keeps the public entangled in electoral jumlas and promises. Kanhaiya said that the leaders claiming development in Bihar have proved to be a complete failure on law and order.
He said that the poor and the farmers are still facing a misery. The education system is criminal and the youth are forced to flee. He lashed out at Nitish Kumar and said that “Monsoon water may not be filled in the fields, but the rain of bullets has made the roads of Bihar red.”
Addressed to youth
Kanhaiya specially addressed the youth in his speech. He said that instead of giving employment to the youth, people in power are working to divide and mislead them. He appealed to the youth to recognize their strength and come forward to give a new direction to Bihar. Kanhaiya also said that “The voice of the youth will decide the future of this state.”
BJP and JDU accused of dual policy
Kanhaiya Kumar targeted the BJP and the JDU alliance and said that both parties remember the public only in the election season. He alleged that these parties do politics of caste and religion to remain in power, while remaining silent on real issues. He said that the government should respond to unemployment, inflation and problems of farmers.
New energy in opposition
This statement of Kanhaiya Kumar seems to give new energy to the opposition. The leaders of the Congress and the Grand Alliance are calling it the voice of the people. He says that Kanhaiya has said what ordinary people are feeling. At the same time, BJP and JDU leaders have termed Kanhaiya’s statement just “political gimmick” and said that the Congress does not have any concrete issue.
