New Delhi, January 29 (IANS). This time Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is going to present the budget for the ninth consecutive time. There have been political reactions on this topic inside and outside the Parliament. Both the ruling party and the opposition presented their views on this occasion and shared views regarding the budget and the functioning of Parliament.
BJP MP Manan Kumar Mishra said that it is a matter of pride for the entire country that India has got a woman Finance Minister, who is continuously fulfilling her responsibilities successfully. Whatever budgets have been presented in the last several years, their main objective has been focused on public welfare and overall development of the country.
According to him, the priority of the government has always been to meet the needs of the common people and take the country forward.
Manan Kumar Mishra also targeted the opposition regarding the discussion and uproar in Parliament. He said that both the government and the party are always ready for discussion. Prime Minister and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju is also in favor of dialogue in the House, but according to him, Rahul Gandhi and his party often create noise when discussions are to be held and walk out as soon as the actual debate begins in the House. He called it not good for the democratic process.
At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha member Ashok Kumar Mittal also reacted to the Prime Minister’s comment. He said that when women in India reach any big position and contribute to the country, it shows the power of women.
According to him, this is something which everyone should appreciate. He said that the society should encourage women to move forward and support them at every level.
TMC MP Saugata Roy said, “There is no hope. The condition of the economy is bad and America is increasing tariffs.”
