New Delhi, January 5 (IANS). Former Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president K Annamalai met BJP national working president Nitin Nabin in New Delhi on Monday.
The meeting took place during the organizational review meeting of the party, in which senior BJP leaders were also present. Annamalai shared the picture of this meeting on social media platform X.
Annamalai wrote, “It was a great pleasure to participate in the organization review meeting chaired by BJP working president Nitin Nabin in New Delhi today, in which senior BJP leaders were also present.”
This meeting has taken place at a time when BJP is focusing on strengthening the organization across the country and preparing for the upcoming elections. Nitin Nabin, who will become the national working president of BJP in December 2025, is considered a symbol of young and energetic leadership in the party. Annamalai, who has been consistently active in strengthening the BJP in Tamil Nadu, discussed the situation in Tamil Nadu, organization expansion, and the party’s strategy in the state in the meeting.
In the post, Annamalai described the meeting as a ‘great pleasure’. He said that the party is touching new heights under the leadership of Nitin Nabin. This meeting is considered important in the context of preparations for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections (2026), where the BJP is trying to play a strong opposition role against the DMK government.
The meeting at the national level of BJP focused on organizational strengthening, participation of workers and election strategy in various states. Nitin Nabin called upon the workers to work with full dedication to fulfill the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A young and aggressive leader like Annamalai is important for the party in a challenging state like Tamil Nadu.
