On Padma Bhushan being given to Koshyari, Sanjay Raut said – Awards are not accepted for those who insult great men.

कोश्यारी को पद्मभूषण दिए जाने पर संजय राउत बोले-महापुरुषों का अपमान करने वालों को अवार्ड मंजूर नहीं

Mumbai, January 26 (IANS). Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has raised questions on the award of Padma Bhushan to former Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. He says that Maharashtra is not satisfied with this.

While talking to the media on Republic Day in Mumbai, Sanjay Raut said that this is a day of pride. We always proudly say that our republic is immortal. I heard the President’s speech. He gave the message of peace to the country and the world and advised India to move forward on the path of peace.

He said that the President should know that the maximum unrest and instability is visible in our country. Shankaracharya is on the road in Uttar Pradesh. There was lathicharge on him. Manipur is still burning. Every day there is a new news in Maharashtra. Delhi is not calm, there is no peace in the court and there is pressure everywhere.

He said that there is unrest in our neighboring country Bangladesh. Hindu brothers are suffering the most loss. Every day four-five Hindus are being murdered, houses are being attacked. Is this acceptable to the President? The Prime Minister talks about Hindu brothers and Sanatan Dharma and you are not able to stop the killings of Hindus in neighboring Bangladesh.

On Padma Bhushan awarded to Bhagat Singh Koshyari, he said that Maharashtra is not satisfied with this. This is not a personal matter. He was the Governor of Maharashtra and during his tenure, our party was broken under his inspiration, Raj Bhavan was made a political base and the elected government was dismissed by killing the Constitution and democracy. All this is not my opinion, but the observation of the Supreme Court. Maharashtra does not accept such a person getting the Padma Bhushan award.

He said that the CM and Deputy Chief Ministers of Maharashtra should tell the Prime Minister that Bhagat Singh Koshyari had insulted Chhatrapati Maharaj, Mahatma Phule and Savitribai Phule while holding the post of Governor and is paying respect to them. This is not acceptable to us.

On the statement of AIMIM leader Waris Pathan, who hoisted the green flag across the country, he said that green color is not the property of anyone’s father. Every party has its own color, but if there is any color in Maharashtra, it will be the saffron color of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
