Lucknow, May 10 (IANS). Yogi Adityanath’s cabinet expansion took place on Sunday ahead of the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2027. Governor Anandiben Patel administered the oath of office and secrecy to six new ministers. Whereas, two ministers of state were promoted.
Regarding the cabinet expansion of Yogi government, NDA leaders have claimed that the government will be formed with an overwhelming majority in the 2027 assembly elections.
State BJP president Pankaj Choudhary said that decisions here are taken collectively, and whatever decision is taken by the party organization is implemented.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that it is a good thing that there has been expansion. Together we will work for the welfare of 25 crore people of Uttar Pradesh, to make their lives better and successful, and to fulfill their needs and aspirations.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that today we congratulate all the new colleagues who have joined the Council of Ministers. Our new team will work towards realizing Prime Minister Modi’s vision of ‘Developed India’.
Minister Danish Azad Ansari said that many congratulations to the new colleagues on the expansion of the cabinet. We extend our best wishes to all the newly appointed ministers. Now a big responsibility for the development and progress of Uttar Pradesh has fallen on the shoulders of all of us. Under the ‘double-engine’ government led by PM Modi and CM Yogi, we will have to keep our promise to serve the state with full sincerity. We will work seriously to meet the set targets in all sectors like education, security, healthcare, employment and industry.
Minister Sanjay Nishad said that social justice means that every caste, every religion and every class should get leadership. They should get respect.
Minister Dayashankar Singh said that efforts have been made to ensure representation to people from every section of the society, and an attempt has been made to maintain regional balance. Highly capable individuals have been selected for inclusion in the cabinet.
Minister Sunil Kumar Sharma said that I would like to congratulate all the ministers who have been appointed. I wish them all the best.
Minister Aseem Arun said that I congratulate the newly appointed ministers who have taken oath. With this expansion, there will be greater participation and representation in the cabinet. The MLAs who have been selected and inducted as ministers have been selected keeping in mind their special abilities and experience.
Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar said that under the Constitution, Uttar Pradesh should have 60 ministers. Six new ministers have been appointed.
Minister Narendra Kumar Kashyap said that the expansion of the cabinet is very balanced. This will establish social balance, accelerate the development of the entire region and the dream of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ will come true.
Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said that six ministers took oath today. The ‘double-engine’ government takes decisions whenever necessary, for the overall development of Uttar Pradesh. This state, which was once called a ‘sick state’ under the leadership of the opposition, has today emerged as a progressive state under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi and the leadership of CM Yogi.
Minister Arun Kumar Saxena said that we are happy that more ministers have been included in the cabinet. This will improve the functioning. We hope that our government, which is already doing good work, will perform even better in the future.
