Lucknow, May 20 (IANS). In UP politics, rhetoric has intensified on issues like street namaz, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign tour and inflation. Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party chief and state government minister OP Rajbhar launched a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. At the same time, he defended PM Modi’s foreign tour.
On Akhilesh Yadav’s counterattack on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s statement on Namaz, OP Rajbhar said that perhaps Akhilesh Yadav is not aware of the Supreme Court order. He said that there is a clear direction from the court that traffic on the road should not be disrupted. If there is a situation of road jam somewhere, the administration takes action and cases are registered against the people. Action should be taken against any person blocking the road and it is important to be aware of the court orders before speaking.
Rajbhar also hit back at Akhilesh Yadav’s comment on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to save petrol and diesel. He said that Akhilesh Yadav can say anything. He sarcastically said that the thirteenth day has not even passed and they are talking about Sanatan, sometimes eating puri-jalebi and sometimes performing aarti. The political conduct of the SP chief is contradictory and he is continuously giving confusing statements.
OP Rajbhar also targeted Samajwadi Party over the allegations of ending reservation on BJP. He said that when there was Samajwadi Party government in the state and Akhilesh Yadav was the Chief Minister, there were huge irregularities in the recruitment processes. He alleged that the list of recruitment in various departments was prepared in advance and sent to the officials. He said that the rights of extremely backward people were snatched away in 27 percent reservation of backward classes. The Muslim community brought the Samajwadi Party to power many times, but there was never any talk of making any Muslim face the Chief Minister. He alleged that the politics of SP leaders is limited only to caste comments and dividing the society.
On questions raised on Rahul Gandhi’s UP tour and Prime Minister Modi’s foreign tours, Rajbhar said that Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav are following each other’s path. He said that these leaders go abroad and put India in the dock and raise questions on the institutions of the country. He said that raising questions on EVMs and the Commission even after winning the elections through the Election Commission shows the dual politics of the opposition. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits different countries of the world to strengthen India’s interests and this improves trade, import-export and international relations.
Regarding Prime Minister Modi’s foreign tours and trade and investment partnership between India and Europe, Rajbhar said that the Prime Minister’s thinking is to move forward in the direction of peace and development with the countries of the world. Increasing cooperation with different countries accelerates economic activities and helps in taking India forward on the path of development.
Responding to the strike of drug traders, OP Rajbhar said that such movements are not very effective. He said that after shouting on the streets for an hour, the movement ends.
Rajbhar also appealed to the people to be cautious regarding the scorching heat in the state. He said that people should not go out in the sun unnecessarily and should complete their important work in the morning and evening. He advised people to drink as much water as possible and adopt measures to protect themselves from heat.
