OP Rajbhar speaks under pressure, his statements are baseless: Fakhrul Hasan Chand

Lucknow, June 17 (IANS). Samajwadi Party (SP) spokesperson Fakhrul Hasan Chand on Wednesday hit back at the statement of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (Subhaspa) chief and Uttar Pradesh government minister Om Prakash Rajbhar, in which he had claimed that the Samajwadi Party would soon break. SP spokesperson termed Rajbhar’s claims as completely baseless and said that his party does not take such statements seriously.

While talking to IANS, Fakhrul Hasan Chand said that Samajwadi Party has such information which makes it clear that Om Prakash Rajbhar is working under pressure. He claimed that Rajbhar’s son Arun Rajbhar had met Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav and during that time had requested for the merger of SubhaSP with Samajwadi Party.

SP spokesperson said that during the conversation with the SP chief, Arun Rajbhar had said that his father was under immense pressure from the BJP. Arun Rajbhar had told that Om Prakash Rajbhar receives messages from BJP and he has to say the same things publicly. Even on social media they have to post only what BJP wants. He is constantly under stress and is also desperate to meet Akhilesh Yadav, but is unable to do so due to pressure from BJP.

He further said that Arun Rajbhar, while talking about saving the politics of backward classes, had requested for the merger of SubhaSP with Samajwadi Party. Fakhrul Hasan Chand claimed that after this entire conversation, Samajwadi Party does not take Om Prakash Rajbhar’s statements seriously. He alleged that Rajbhar is working to carry forward the messages received from BJP and publicize them through social media.

Fakhrul Hasan Chand further said that since his own son had said that his words should not be taken too seriously, even the Samajwadi Party does not give special importance to any of his statements. Therefore, his claim regarding the breakup of Samajwadi Party is purely political rhetoric and has no connection with reality.
