Jehanabad, November 7 (IANS). Bihar Minister Ashok Chaudhary said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has always said that the entire Bihar is his family and in this spirit, work is being done towards development with justice in the state.
He said that now every house has electricity whether it has voted for us or not. The benefits of development should reach every person, this is the real meaning of development with justice.
The minister said that today the government’s schemes are coming on the ground in every village of the state. Under the Har Ghar Nal Ka Jal Yojana, people are now getting clean water at home. Earlier, women had to walk miles to get the same water, now the same water is flowing from their taps.
He said that Nitish Kumar’s government has also launched a big campaign regarding cleanliness. “Toilets are being built in every house so that no one has to go for open defecation. Also, the drainage system is being strengthened so that water does not accumulate in the streets and people do not have to face problems.”
Minister Choudhary said that the aim of the government is not only to provide basic facilities, but to make every section of the society self-reliant.
Minister Ashok Chaudhary told IANS, “The people of Bihar are rising above caste and voting unitedly for development. For how long will anyone vote on the basis of caste? The sun, rivers and land do not discriminate on the basis of caste, they nourish everyone equally. If nature does not discriminate, then why should we? The public has understood this very well.”
He told that earlier the talk of development in Bihar used to be only on paper, but now people themselves are realizing that there has been a change. There has been improvement in every sector like electricity, water, roads, education and health.
