Prashant Kishor Bihar Politics: At present, the election atmosphere is hot in the politics of Bihar, every leader is planning a strategy for his/her seat, but in the meantime, Jansuraj Party chief Prashant Kishore gave such a statement which caught everyone’s attention. While other leaders are trying to get tickets, Prashant Kishore clearly said, “I will not contest the elections.”
PK engaged in strengthening the organization
While talking to the media, Prashant Kishore said that his aim is not to get the chair, but to strengthen the party at the grassroots level. He said, “I will continue to do whatever work I am doing in the party. If I go to contest elections, there will be a loss of two to five days and this may cause loss to many candidates of Jansuraj.”
PK believes that at this time collective strength is more needed than individual ambition. He said that the party’s interest is paramount, hence he has decided to give priority to the organization instead of entering the electoral fray.
There was hope from Karghar and Raghopur
Earlier there were speculations in political circles that Prashant Kishor may contest elections from Karghar seat of Rohtas district, which is also his birthplace. But Jansuraj made Bhojpuri singer Ritesh Ranjan Pandey the candidate from here.
After this, speculations intensified regarding Raghopur seat. This is the same seat from where Tejashwi Yadav contests the elections. It was believed that Kishor could contest directly from here, but the party gave ticket to Chanchal Singh from this seat.
Without alliance, in the field with full force
Jansuraj Party has already announced that it will contest elections on all 243 seats of Bihar without any alliance. This step of Prashant Kishor makes it clear that he wants to become an idea and not just a face in politics. His message is clear, “A leader is not the one who asks for votes, but the one who paves the way for change by living among the people.”
In this election season of Bihar, where everyone is making a strategy to win, this different path of Prashant Kishore makes him stand apart from other leaders.
