New Delhi, June 25 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given information about the decisions taken in the 52nd meeting of Pragati. He said on Thursday morning that emphasis was laid on the use of ‘PM Gatishakti National Master Plan’ to complete the development works on time.

Earlier, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) informed that during the meeting the Prime Minister reviewed four important infrastructure projects related to roads, power, industrial corridors and metro rail sectors. These projects, costing approximately Rs 30,000 crore, are spread across four states. These projects, which are important from the point of view of economic development, regional connectivity, industrial progress and public welfare, were reviewed with special attention to timelines, coordination between various agencies, resolution of problems and timely completion.
According to the PMO, the Prime Minister said that delays in infrastructure projects not only increase costs but also deprive people and industries of timely benefits. He directed the concerned ministries and state governments to resolve the pending issues in mission mode and ensure their continuous monitoring at the highest level.
The Prime Minister stressed the use of PM Gatishakti National Master Plan for effective planning and time-bound implementation of infrastructure projects. He stressed the need for regular and timely updating of project details, utilities, infrastructure layers, approvals and other regional information on the portal. He said that the latest ground level situation should be visible on the platform so that blockages can be known in advance and coordination between various agencies can be improved and decisions can be taken based on reliable and real-time data.
The Prime Minister reviewed the TB Free India campaign and stressed the need to use the latest digital technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI). He suggested constituting a team of NCC cadets and ‘My Bharat’ volunteers for awareness, follow-up of patients and community engagement.
PM Modi also reviewed complaints related to cyber crime and digital arrests. He expressed concern over the increasing misuse of digital platforms to defraud citizens and said that such cases should be dealt with in a coordinated, sensitive and time bound manner by all concerned agencies. He said that people should not have to run from one department or agency to another to solve their problems. He also stressed the need for clear accountability, prompt response, better coordination between law enforcement agencies, banks and digital platforms and further strengthening of public awareness campaigns.
The Prime Minister said that timely action is of utmost importance to prevent financial loss in cyber fraud cases and restore public confidence. He urged all stakeholders to work together to strengthen prevention, reporting, investigation and grievance redressal mechanisms. He also said that states should work towards implementing the e-Zero FIR system to ensure speedy registration and response in cyber fraud cases.
