Rahul Gandhi attacks the Central Government on NEET paper leak, says in the footage - 'Why was the Education Minister who was failing again and again not removed?'

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak issue. Rahul Gandhi, while posting on social media platform X, raised serious questions on the examination system and the functioning of the Education Ministry.

Rahul Gandhi wrote in his post, “Paper leaked, exam not cancelled, CBI conducted investigation. Why is PM Modi not dismissing the Education Minister who is failing again and again?” He alleged that despite the continuous paper leak cases in the country, the government has failed to take any concrete steps.

The Congress MP further said that the incident of paper leak came to light in the NEET 2026 exam also, after which the exam had to be cancelled. He wrote, “The minister did not resign again. CBI is again investigating. Modi ji, the country is asking you questions – answer me, why are papers being leaked again and again? Why are you silent on this ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ again and again?”

Accusing the Central Government of playing with the future of the youth, Rahul Gandhi said that lakhs of students of the country appear in competitive examinations after hard work, but incidents like paper leak are breaking their hard work and trust. He said that instead of merely conducting an investigation, the government should take strict action against those responsible.

NEET exam is considered to be one of the biggest medical entrance exams in the country. Every year lakhs of students appear for this examination with the dream of becoming a doctor. In such a situation, the news of paper leak has increased the concern of students and parents.

The opposition is continuously cornering the government on this issue. Many opposition parties, including Congress, have demanded to ensure transparency and security in the examination system. At the same time, the government has said that investigation into the matter will be ongoing.

The issue of paper leak has once again raised serious questions on the country’s education system and examination security. Now it has to be seen what steps the Central Government takes in this matter and how it restores the confidence of the students.
