New Delhi, February 10 (IANS). Senior BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain has termed Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi as a burden on Parliament.
Speaking to IANS in New Delhi, BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain said that Rahul Gandhi is known for making absurd statements, once he had said that if I speak in Parliament, there will be an uproar. But when they speak in Parliament, they harm their party’s votes and tarnish the image of the country. They bring down the reputation of Parliament. Rahul Gandhi has become a burden for Parliament. There has never been an opposition leader like him in India before. They want to defame PM Modi and the country, that is why they are speaking debating language and do not want to accept the Speaker’s ruling. Rahul Gandhi has a lot of misconceptions about himself. Earlier he had said that there would be an uproar, but when he spoke, his speech got interrupted.
The BJP leader said that we have many MPs to answer Rahul Gandhi’s questions. PM Modi not only did not answer their questions but also washed them completely several times.
On Pakistan playing matches with India, BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain said that Pakistan has a habit of going back on its words. Pakistan has come to play with India out of fear. If he had not come to play, ICC would have imposed a heavy fine on Pakistan Cricket Board. Pakistan is a begging country. There is shortage of money and it is because of lack of money and fear that he has come on the field. The Pakistani cricket team will be rubbed on the field.
On a social media post of RJD, Shahnawaz Hussain said that RJD is breaking the decorum of language. What is wrong in what Nitish Kumar has said about Rabri Devi? Nitish Kumar has known Rabri Devi for many years. He is the leader of Rabri Devi era. Nitish Kumar has known Rabri Devi ever since she got married. Has been a friend of Lalu Yadav. If you said ‘girl’ then why is there so much ruckus?
