Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Wednesday accused the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha of having links with anti-India forces and asserted that the Congress leader is the most dangerous person for India’s security.

In an interview to ANI, Rijiju raised questions over Gandhi’s various meetings, alleging that the opposition leader kept meeting Naxalists, extremists, ideologues and people like George Soros during his visits abroad and also within the country.

Rijiju said, “Rahul Gandhi has become the most dangerous person for India’s security. Because he is associated with anti-India forces. He meets Naxalists, extremists, ideologues and people like George Soros in the country and abroad.”

On February 12, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said that he has moved a motion against the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, accusing him of misleading the country.

Dubey is demanding termination of his parliamentary membership and a lifetime ban on the Congress leader from contesting elections.

Dubey told ANI, “I have moved a motion against Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha today, saying that he is misleading the country with the help of forces like George Soros, who want to harm the country. I have requested in my motion that Rahul Gandhi’s membership be terminated and he be banned from contesting elections for life.”

Gandhi accused the central government of compromising national interests.

Addressing the lower house of Parliament, Gandhi said the government itself acknowledged that the world is facing a global crisis in which the era of a superpower is coming to an end, geopolitical conflicts are intensifying and energy and finance are being misused as weapons.

He alleged that despite accepting this reality, the government has allowed the United States to misuse the energy and financial systems in a way that is affecting India.
