Rahul Gandhi alleged that some strength deleted votes by hijacking the system. He said, “Aland is an assembly constituency in Karnataka. There someone tried to delete 6,018 votes. We did not have the correct information about how many votes were deleted in the entire 2023 election, but this number was more than 6,000. It was just revealed that the matter was mistaken while deleting these 6,018 votes.”
Rahul further said that the incident came to light in such a way that a booth-level officer saw that his uncle’s vote had been deleted. When he investigated who did this, it was found out that the neighbor deleted the vote. But the neighbor clearly said, “I did not delete any vote.”
Rahul Gandhi said that neither the person whose vote was deleted nor who was going to delete, no one was aware of it. Actually, an external force took this action by hijacking the system.
