New Delhi, February 4 (IANS). Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu has given a sharp reaction to the remarks made by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Parliament complex. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi was going to physically attack him.
Speaking to news agency IANS, Ravneet Singh Bittu said, “Today, even a street goon would not do what Rahul Gandhi did. When I did not shake hands, he was about to attack me. KC Venugopal and other Congress leaders caught Rahul Gandhi. If they had not caught him, I don’t know what would have happened.”
He further said, “If Rahul Gandhi had come to attack, even my hands would not have been tied.”
The Union Minister told that after the debate when he went inside. But the question is how can he say wrong words and say that you will come to me again.
Ravneet Singh Bittu said, “Rahul Gandhi is under misunderstanding. BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have honored me and made me sit in front of Congress leaders. He (Rahul Gandhi) is pained by this. Seeing me in front of him hurts every day. That pain was clearly visible in Rahul Gandhi’s tongue and physically today.”
Meanwhile, the Union Minister accused Congress of instigating the killings of Sikhs. He said, “These are the people whose supporters killed thousands of Sikhs by putting tires around their necks and setting them on fire. After that the Gurudwaras were demolished. The organs of Guru Granth Sahib were shot in the Darbar Sahib. That is why they have always been the enemies of the Sikhs.”
Ravneet Singh Bittu said, “There was always this pain in their party (Congress) that my father was martyred and his grandfather was also martyred. Wherever I went and raised slogans in praise, it used to hurt them. The Congress party has always got Sikhs killed in Punjab. When Narasimha Rao became the Prime Minister of the country and Gandhi Raj ended, my grandfather (Sardar Beant Singh) became the Chief Minister. If these people (Gandhi family) Had he been there, he would not have been able to become the CM. The fight for peace in Punjab would have stopped. The Congress party is also saddened by this.
