Hyderabad, July 23 (IANS). Telangana BJP President N. Ramachandra Rao has termed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s paper leak related claims as completely wrong and misleading and has accused Congress of misleading the youth. He said that Congress is trying to take political advantage of this issue, while the Central Government has implemented strict laws to make the examination system secure.
Ramachandra Rao, while talking to IANS on Thursday, said that the Congress party is the mother of lies. Rahul Gandhi’s claim that 152 papers were leaked in the last 12 years is completely baseless. He said that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a law to stop incidents like paper leaks, so that strict action can be taken against the culprits.
He said that in the recent paper leak cases related to NEET exam, the accused have been arrested and sent to jail. The Central Government is taking action against the culprits without any discrimination and is committed to ensuring transparency of the examination process.
Ramachandra Rao said that even during the Congress rule, there were many incidents of paper leaks and at that time the party leaders were accused of being involved in such matters. He said that Congress is now trying to create a wrong atmosphere among the people by presenting false figures.
He alleged that Congress has no real concern for the education system and is making political use of students’ issues. The demonstrations being organized in the name of students are not actually student movements. He claimed that a large number of non-students, people associated with leftist ideology and anti-social elements are taking part in these demonstrations, while most of the participants have no connection with the NEET exam.
Ramachandra Rao said that if Congress has any concrete fact or complaint on this issue then it should be raised in Parliament. He alleges that instead of discussing in Parliament, Congress wants to do politics on the streets and is confusing the youth.
The BJP leader said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already made it clear that Congress is politicizing issues related to education and examinations and misleading students and youth.
